"Generation to Generation" - Hastings CCJ
In conjunction with the Hastings CCJ Branch, Hastings and Rother Interfaith Forum would like to invite you to the event Generation to Generation: Empowering second and third generation descendants to present their family histories through the use of survivor testimonies.

Ruth and Raimund Neumeyer - Tim Locke speaks about how his family were persecuted as Jews under Nazi racial laws even though they were Lutherans. A richly illustrated presentation mentioning the concentration camps, the children finding a new life with a loving English family and a message from their father, Hans, about the importance ‘not to hate’. Audio extracts include Hans’s music, Ruth’s interview with the Imperial War Museum and a letter written by their mother, Vera, while being deported to certain death in an unknown destination in Nazi-occupied Poland.
