CCJ Statement 24th MayPosted Mon, 05/24/2021 - 09:26 by Robert
As the Jewish holiday of Shavuot continues, we wish to share our grave concern over rising levels of antisemitism connected to events in Israel and Gaza. We are grateful that police have made arrests in connection with the unconscionable language about Jews and Judaism shouted on the street in North London yesterday afternoon, as widely viewed on social media, and we are heartened that the Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition, and Mayor of London immediately condemned these slurs. There is no room for antisemitism or any form of racism in our society, regardless of our political views.
