We are in the final day of our campus leadership training residential and what an inspiring time we’ve had so far. As I write this our campus leaders are in sessions on event planning with Beth B and campus leadership alumni Raphi, dreaming of what they are going to do when they go back to their campuses and starting to put together their interfaith initiatives.

Our students came to the training residential as strangers from campuses across the UK bringing their own faiths, identities, and reasons for joining the programme and have now become a tight knit cohort sharing, learning together, and supporting one another. Through relationship building, speed faithing, scriptural reasoning, leadership seminars, managing difficult conversations and so much more, our students have been equipped to be ambassadors for interfaith on their campuses as well as engaging with people from all faiths and backgrounds.

I titled this extremely brief snippet into what we’ve been up to ‘It’s just the beginning…’ Our training residential marks the start of our Campus Leaders’ journey with us on the Campus Leadership Programme. It really is just the beginning of everything they’re going to do this year and we can’t wait to introduce the cohort, share more about the residential, and what our campus leaders are up to as the year goes on.

So here’s to the beginning and the bravery of our campus leaders doing this essential and important work on campus!
